Hervé has extensive experience in business and project development in developing countries, particularly in Latin America and Africa. He was CEO of Elf Lubricants in Mexico, 1990 - 1997 and CEO of Elf Lubricant‘s international division, 1998 - 2002. In this role, he managed 13 subsidiaries in Latin America, Asia and Africa. He was President of IFIA (Interafrican Forest Industries Association) from 2005 - 2011.
He played a key role in obtaining FSC certification of 5.3 million forest hectares. In addition, he was also instrumental in promoting tropical woods in international markets and championing high value processing of forest products in Africa. He has also served as a lecturer at HEC Paris on company management in emerging countries.
Hervé has a Master’s degree in Philosophy, a degree in Law and graduated from EDHEC in business administration. In addition, he studied international marketing at INSEAD (1988). He speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.

Charlotte specializes in corporate finance. She joined Moringa in January 2017 where she now ensures financial follow-up of Moringa’s portfolio.
She gained a sound experience in finance working in a Mexican think tank, Ethos, where she analyzed Mexican public finances and at the French Ministry of Health where she was in charge of budget modeling for the structure of rare diseases in French hospitals.
Charlotte graduated in Economics at Sciences Po Paris. She speaks French, English and Spanish.

Before joining Moringa Partnership as Impact Manager in May 2021, Lenny has worked as Head of Sustainability of 12Tree (2018-2021) and Project Manager at Forest Finance (2013-2018). The last eight years, he has worked on several forestry and agricultural projects in Central and South America. He has been in charge of leading the 12Tree sustainability department and working with the 12Tree sales team to market cocoa beans to European and US chocolate makers. At Forest Finance, he was responsible for a cocoa farm in San Martin (Peru) and a small pilot almond farm in the South of France. He has professional experience in both the public and private sector and in several European countries: he worked for the European think tank Eating City in France and Italy, the NGO Action Against Hunger in Spain, the German Environmental Foundation in Germany, and local Deputies in France.
Lenny loves to learn about and work in agroecology. He is interested in structuring ethical agricultural value chains with small producers. Marketing products to find more profitable outlets for farmers is his passion. He enjoys building bridges between farmers, buyers, and consumers.
Lenny holds an MSc in International Cooperation and Economic Development with a specialization in agricultural and food policies in Southern countries as well as an MA in European Policies, Public Affairs, with a specialization on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Lenny speaks French, Spanish, English, and German. Lenny currently lives in Berlin.
